Mid Century Iconic Downtown Building next to Calder Plaza. We have historically offered up the southwest corner of the building for a large outdoor installation.

111 Lyon Apartments

This iconic venue is located in the heart of Grand Rapids. 111 Lyon is a transformational redevelopment of a downtown high-rise. Originally One Vandenberg Center, this mid-century masterpiece now features stylish one- and two-bedroom apartments, elevated amenities, and a renewed presence at the city’s core.

Acrisure Amphitheater is a premier outdoor venue located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, offering world-class entertainment to the West Michigan community. With seating for up to 12,000 guests, the amphitheater features a variety of seating options, expansive green space, and a scenic riverside setting.

Art of Resilience: Veterans Healing, Creating, and Connecting Through Art
Art of Resilience by Healing in Arts, under the leadership of Pamela Alderman, transforms Veterans Memorial Park into a powerful outdoor exhibition featuring artwork created by U.S. military veterans.

Surrounded by memorials honoring those who served, the park becomes a living gallery—inviting the public to reflect, connect, and experience veterans’ stories through art. The park is located in downtown Grand Rapids near the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum.



Art of Resilience-Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park is a peaceful green space in downtown Grand Rapids dedicated to honoring those who have served. With memorials, walkways, and open lawn areas, it invites reflection and gathering.

During Art of Resilience, the park becomes an outdoor gallery featuring veteran-created artwork installed throughout the space—encouraging visitors to walk, reflect, and connect. Located near the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, it offers an accessible and meaningful civic setting for art and remembrance.



In the heart of downtown at 70 Ionia Ave SW, Big Mini Putt Club Grand Rapids features 9 holes of challenging mini golf; a variety of free games such as Nintendo 64, Darts, and Giant Jenga; and many card-operated amusement games such as Air Hockey, Skee-Ball, and Arcade Basketball.

We are housed in a historic funeral chapel. There is a ramp that leads up to our front entrance. The main dining space is the chapel. We have a side room that is accessible from our patio and chapel -- it features garage doors that open up to the patio and Cherry Street beyond. The lighting in the space is dimmer than many other venues, I'm sure.

Brewery Vivant

Vivant is located in the heart of East Hills, on Cherry Street! 
We are housed inside of a historic funeral chapel -- we specialize in European-focused brewing and food, through a West Michigan lens.

Canopy by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown is located in the exciting Studio Park. New hotel in 2020 and has mid-century modern features throughout the hotel. Hotel has 2 onsite restaurants and a second-floor event space. Hotel also has several pieces of unique artwork throughout the hotel. 

A clothing boutique with ample wall space, room in the back for 3D pieces, and a deck in the window for a larger installation.

Courage & Soar

Courage & Soar is a size-inclusive boutique featuring gender neutral clothing options and dozens of local artists and vendors. 

Located in the heart of the Hotel District of Downtown Grand Rapids, the Courtyard downtown has spaces available throughout the first floor lobby as well as outside of the hotel.  We have onsite parking available at a discounted rate for our artists as well as a full service restaurant just steps away from where we display your pieces. We are connected to the skywalk making it easy for guests to go from venue to venue!

Courtyard Downtown Grand Rapids

Located in the lively Hotel District, the Courtyard Grand Rapids downtown is a great location to enjoy Artprize! Not only are we a venue, but we are within walking distance of many other venues, including those that are connected to the skywalk. 

With an onsite full service restaurant, The Bistro, we are able to take care of of your whole family for breakfast, lunch, dinner or cocktails!

Whether you're here for Artprize, dining, or simply to explore the city, the Courtyard downtown is designed to make your stay a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Our large three dimensional window display has large glass panes with dark back wall. It is located on a brick street with mature trees, opposite to a city bus stop and busy intersection. We have lots of pedestrian traffic in the summer. We own the three story building in a vintage vibe neighborhood. There are bikes, scooters and park benches right in front of our entrance and window display where your artwork will be featured. Your artwork will be completely protected but also widely seen, with spot lights on both day and night. We also have one electrical outlet available if you need. If you would like to sit next to your artwork during ArtPrize, we have a shaded area, protected from the weather for your chair.

Culver CPA Group is located in a vintage vibe neighborhood in the NE quadrant of Grand Rapids. Just outside our building are bikes, scooters and park benches, brick street and mature trees.

DeVos Place Convention Center

DeVos Place® is a premier convention center located in downtown Grand Rapids. Nestled beside the Grand River, the picturesque riverfront setting is the perfect backdrop for your convention, tradeshow, meeting or any event. DeVos Place offers a unique combination of meeting and exhibition space to accommodate a variety of events.

This venue is an office space in Downtown GR. We have large windows at street level to display art. Visitors will be able to view the art 24/7 as they will not need to enter the building to enjoy the display.

There are 3 large vertical windows (3'x6'), please see pictures below.

We are only able to accommodate artwork that can be hung facing outward toward the street. There is a metal rod, inside, above the window to hang work from. Pieces must be 36" wide or less to fit in the window space. 



Downtown Grand Rapids Inc

This venue is an office space in Downtown GR. We have large windows at street level to display art. Visitors will be able to view the art 24/7 as they will not need to enter the building to enjoy the display.

About us: Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. works to elevate Downtown GR as the best-in-class heart of an American city.

Ferris is located on the west side on Seward (between Bridge and Leonard.) An easily accessible location with a large (free) parking lot. We have a cafe and retail store for guests to enjoy as they view your art. 

We are looking for OUTDOOR SCULPTURE artists to display their beautiful work in our large parking lot along Seward Ave. Very visible from the road, this is the perfect opportunity to capture drivers attention. We have hi-lo's available if you need assistance installing your work.

OUR GOAL is to host 3-5 sculpture artists to create a SCULPTURE GARDEN in our parking lot for a full experience of Artprize. 

Ferris Coffee & Nut Co.

HI, WE'RE FERRIS! We may be old, but we're not outdated. Our heritage spans back to 1924 as a family-owned and operated nut and coffee roaster. Our mission is to create amazing coffee and snacks that are Michigan-made and bring you joy. 

Main gallery is 24' x 36'. Additional spaces in the hallways and on a large mezzanine area.

Fountain Street Church

Fountain Street is seeking submissions that reflect the theme of "Social Justice". Your artist statement must suggest this intention. 

This venue has just over 2,000 square feet in the seating area and about 1200 square feet of beautiful patio. 

Fulton Street Pub 

The venue is over 2000 square feet inside and over 1000 square feet on the patio. The building is one floor and is handicap accessible.

The Gerald R. Ford Museum in downtown Grand Rapids is a featured space during ArtPrize. Our large grounds provides amble room for outdoor art and large our lobby provides a sun lit area where can host numerous interior pieces.

Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum

The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum is the presidential museum and burial place of Gerald Ford, the 38th president of the United States, and his wife Betty Ford. It is located near the Pew Campus of Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan

GRCM is two floors of hands-on interactive exhibits and daily drop-in programs that inspire learning through play. GRCM has been a playful destination in downtown Grand Rapids, MI for over 25 years and 4 million guests!

Artwork must be installed outdoors or viewable from the outdoors in accordance with our adult visitor policy. Adults are not permitted to enter the Museum without children. Children under 18 are not permitted in the Museum without adult supervision. Adults are classified as anyone 18 and older. The Museum asks that adults stay with children at all times. Paid admission is required to enter the Museum.

Grand Rapids Children's Museum

The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum (GRCM) is two floors of hands-on interactive exhibits and daily drop-in programs that inspire learning through play. GRCM has been a playful destination in downtown Grand Rapids, MI for over 25 years and 4 million guests! 

GRCM is open to the public on Tuesdays, Friday, and Saturdays from 9am-4pm, Thursday from 9am-7pm, and Sunday from noon-4pm. Regular admission is $12.00 per person and $11.00 for ages 65+. Admission for teachers, healthcare and frontline workers, and active military members is $10.00. Admission is $6 per person on Thursdays during Family Night from 4-7pm. Through Museums for All, admission for EBT and WIC cardholders is $1.75 per person for up to 12 people per card. GRCM members and children under 1 are free!

Available Venue Space

The NIA Centre building is 1,300 square feet in total.

For artists, we will be making our conference room and the window space of the conference room available.

The conference room and its window space will be the only space available for artist use.

Artists should consider this when planning their exhibitions, performances, or other artistic engagements at our venue.

Artists who are interested in performing, exhibiting, or partnering with the NIA Centre will find a space that is not only visually and acoustically inviting but rooted in purpose. We encourage artists to bring their vision, passion, and cultural expression to a community eager to celebrate, engage, and grow together.

Nia Centre

The exhibition will be displayed in our street-facing window, allowing the public to view the artwork at any time, making art more accessible to those who may not traditionally visit galleries. The selected artists’ works will represent a diverse range of styles, mediums, and narratives, focusing on cultural identity, heritage, resilience, and self-expression. There will be an option to use the conference room upon discussions with the artist. 

Through this exhibition, we aim to:
✅ Amplify African American voices in the arts community.
✅ Engage the public with powerful visual storytelling.
✅ Foster connections between artists and the broader Grand Rapids audience.

A gift shop with a front deck window for a sizeable installation as well as back wall space for hanging pieces and floor pieces.

Oh, Hello Paper & Gifts

Oh, Hello Paper & Gifts is located in the historic Peck building and features over 60 local artists and vendors. The perfect place to shop for your next gift, a greeting card, or something to brighten your day.

This venue, located in the historic Flat Iron Building and directly across from the Art Museum, has original brick walls, wood floors, and all the views with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.  Welcome artists!

Old World Olive Co

Welcome to Old World Olive Company, your spot for top-notch olive oils and aged balsamic vinegars! Step into our tasting room and dive into premium flavors.

Our space is an open concept gourmet popcorn shop. It is roughly 700 sq/ft and we have a lot of blank white walls to hang artwork or wall installations (would not be near food prep areas). One of the areas has some articulating lighting that could be directed towards artwork.

Popnotch Goods

Popnotch Goods is located on Wealthy Street between Eastern and Charles in the Uptown Shopping District. The front of the building is white. 

Rewind is a Vintage, Streetwear and Collectable store located in the Heartside area of Dowtown Grand Rapids. We offer collectable tees, music, sports, skating, cards, pants, shorts, etc.

We are hosting 7 Artist in the shop, two are installations, several meet and greets with the artist and events on the community calendar!

We will be displaying 4-5 pieces on the white shiplap walls inside our store. 
Wall hanging pieces are preferred, we do NOT have room for large installations or the capability for digital pieces. 
We get a fair amount of traffic with our own customers, but due to our location outside of the main downtown area we are not the right venue for artists hoping to have constant interaction with their audience. 

Roeda Studio

Roeda Studio is a woman-owned & operated business that has been based out of our Monroe Ave studio for nearly 20 years. At Roeda Studio, we design and hand paint our own line of Metal Art Magnets to sell in our retail store and website. Come see us for colorful home decor, unique gifts, and locally made products!

The architectural design emphasizes openness and visibility, making it an effective environment for both wall-mounted and free-standing artwork. The layout includes wide walkways, a gently sloping ramp, and smooth wall surfaces that offer flexibility in presentation and installation.

The neutral interior color palette consists of light walls and dark, patterned flooring that ensures that the space does not compete with artwork visually. The lobby is fully climate-controlled and ADA-accessible.

Spectrum Theater

The Spectrum Theater Lobby offers a clean, contemporary space well-suited for visual art displays during ArtPrize. Located in downtown Grand Rapids on the Grand Rapids Community College campus, the lobby serves as the primary entry point to the theater auditorium.

this space is 1800 square feet located directly across from Rosa Park circle on Monroe center.  The space is open with bright front windows.  All on ground level floor.

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is happy to be an ArtPrize venue agani! We are a coffee shop in the Monroe North area, with a ton of great light and windows – we generally host at least 8 pieces of artwork. We're open to many forms of art, not just paintings or photos. Let us know about your sculptures! Maybe something aerial? We also have outdoor space that can be utilized, with approval from our landlord.

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea Monroe North

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is happy to be an ArtPrize venue agani! We are a coffee shop in the Monroe North area, with a ton of great light and windows – we generally host at least 8 pieces of artwork. 

The venue is a 6400 sq foot first floor office in the Symplicity Communications Building (formerly First Community Bank) that was formerly a bank. It has a very open floor plan and very elegant and historic architecture and decor with a blend of blend of brick, granite, marble, and wood.

The venue is a 6400 square foot first floor office suite in a former bank building that is over 100 years old and features elegant and historic architecture and decor. The suite is accessible directly from an entrance on Monroe Center. 

Van Andel Arena is an outdoor venue, utilizing the plaza on 130 West Fulton  Street.  Located in one of America’s hottest cities, Van Andel Arena is a 12,000 plus capacity arena managed by ASM Global, a venue management powerhouse that spans five continents, 14 countries and more than 300 of the world’s most prestigious arenas, stadiums, convention and exhibit centers, and performing arts venues. Van Andel Arena has been a catalyst for live entertainment development in the greater Grand Rapids area since its opening in 1996. Van Andel Arena provides enhanced event programming and opportunities for the City and State.

Van Andel Arena is home to the AHL team, the Grand Rapids Griffins, the NBA G League team, the Grand Rapids Gold as well as the Pro Volleyball Federation's West Michigan Pro Volleyball, the Grand Rapids Rise.

We are a 1800 square foot historic location with 18 foot ceilings. We have high visibility and are located in the historic Waters Building. Homewood Suites is directly above our location. The Hyatt hotel is directly across the street. We consistently have high volume of foot traffic every day of the year and more especially during Art Prize. Last year one of the top 10 was located in our Store. There is plenty of wall space and we are willing to accommodate most anything.

Webster's Market

We are small woman owned and Hispanic owned market. We do not sell alcoholic beverages. (This is to allow for a more family friendly space) We are open longer hours than ArtPrize requires and we have 6 hotels within one block of our location. We have a high volume of foot traffic daily. Our owner and staff is happy to work with Artist to create a space to resonate their creativity.

Venue is ADA accessible,  approximately 1500 square feet. WGNO serves the community as a resource center for all neighbors. Free street parking, On the Rapid Bus Line, Lime Scooters and bikes available near by,  6 large Windows where art work could be displayed.  ADA restroom, water refill station.
