William Randall

Muskegon, MI, United States

ART PRIZE 2015 In 1989 at 60 years of age I enrolled for classes in the art department at Muskegon Community College where I had earned credits for studies in acrylic and oil painting, colored pencil, pastels, oil pastels, three dimension work, sculpture and ceramics. I am a member of the White River Gallery in Whitehall, MI and regularly show art at the Red Lotus Gallery in Muskegon, MI. I served as president of the Muskegon Fine Arts Society and as Co-chairman at the White River Gallery. My representational and abstract works include a wide variety of subjects and styles. Primarily I am known for the use of a pallet of bright colors. In addition to numerous one man shows my work has been in juried shows such as Celebration in Grand Rapids, Regionals at Muskegon Art Museum, Kalamazoo Institute of Art and the Gallery Uptown in Grand Haven. My work can be seen in public places such as Hackley Hospital, Kobza Hall of Justice and Community College Library in Muskegon.
