William Alexander entered the professional world of graphic design and illustration after earning his BFA in fine art and design, studying at GVSU, Memphis Academy of Art and Columbia College in Chicago. After fifteen years of print and multi-media design for both ad firms and in-house publishing, Alexander decided it was time to create fine art rather than corporate, or commercial art/design. He then participated in local and regional exhibitions and competitions, where his work garnered the interest of serious art collectors. His work has been featured in regional exhibitions at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Kalamazoo Institute of Art and Muskegon Museum of Art along with numerous other galleries and collections. Alexander has participated in many regional and national exhibitions since 2002 and his art is included in public, private and corporate collections. His work is now available through the Weingrad Group Collection in New York, NY and The Gallery in Saginaw, Michigan.
