House of Wine is a wine bar and retail shop where you can find great wine in a neighborhood atmosphere. We have a full service bar with MI craft beer on tap and our kitchen has paninis, salads, dessert and we specialize in charcuterie. We have indoor and outdoor seating available.
This is a picture of a previous installation. It was paper mache and eventually went away, but we are open to a permanent exhibit. We are only interested in an outdoor exhibit as we are a 8-5pm business. This is a perfect venue for exterior building painting/mosaic/etc. Feel free to use the whole building (parking lot in back) or a rooftop installation would work too. We are located across from the library, and GRCC and next to the Spectrum Theater. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary with an open house on September 30th!

Small Post Office Boxes will make up this official venue located at the United States Postal Service - Ledyard Station, 120 Monroe Center NW. PO (Art)Box is specializing in small artwork since scale is often a majority factor in ArtPrize entries. Curator Sierra Cole says, "We all know that ArtPrize is about having a conversation about art, we just feel that most of the time that conversation revolves around large scale works of art. We want to flip that conversation and talk about how small works of art are just as viable as large scale works. They are just as challenging, time consuming, and complex as their large counterparts." PO (Art)Box will be viewable from a custom made outdoor mailbox bank that will be located just outside the Ledyard Post Office.

Marking over 100 years of service to the Grand Rapids metropolitan community, WMU is deeply committed to the Fine Arts. The Frostic School of Art, Department of Dance, School of Music, and the Department of Theatre together form the College of Fine Arts at WMU – a center dedicated to future-oriented creative excellence. MCC is an emerging Christian faith community whose mission is “Love God, Love People, Love the City.” As image-bearers of the Creator, we seek to honor God through celebrating the creative talents of our members, friends, and the community. We embrace and encourage the arts through various community events and activities. Each year for ArtPrize, we conduct a series of worship services based upon themes generated by selected art that we host. We typically have an opening reception, an open-mic artist night, and can host special receptions for a small fee. We typically host many K-12 school class trips at our venue, and our exhibits are typically appropriate for children. We are accessible, have a drinking fountain, restrooms, and have a mom's nursing space available. In 2017, MCC was one of the 5 finalists for Outstanding Venue, and have twice hosted a jury finalist. For 2021, we are in a new building at 1020 Monroe NW.
