Fountain Street Church is a beautiful, historic, downtown landmark. The Fountain Street Church Art Committee manages seven exhibitions each year, one of which is dedicated to ArtPrize. The Church has been an ArtPrize venue since the first event in 2009. In addition to works by ArtPrize artists, the stunning art and architecture of the Church sanctuary attracts many visitors. Located at 24 Fountain Street, the Church is just three blocks north of the ArtPrize HUB and near other important venues such as Kendall College of Art and Design and the Grand Rapids Art Museum. The Apartment has a rich history in Grand Rapids and has been around for over four decades. Began by Ed Ladner and Milton Lenox, they passed the baton to new owner Bob Johnson.
