Tom Tsuchiya is a Japanese American artist who is best known for his sculptures including the Cincinnati Reds' bronze statues at Great American Ball Park (2003- present) and the National Football League's "Madden Protectors Award" (2010). In 2014, Tsuchiya was selected as one of 6 finalists to create the sculpture of Thomas Edison for the United States Capitol. Recently, he has been receiving international recognition for his innovative, functional art including "Atlas Recycled" (2010- present) and Biola University's "The Spirit of Christ" (2014), a sculpture that helps feed those in need in Los Angeles.
