Sue Szymanski . . . enjoys spending much of her time exercising her creative spirit - this after half a lifetime of work, marriage, motherhood, more work and now Parkinson’s Disease. With a creative passion and giving heart, Sue started her inspired journey with making rag quilts as a ministry of prayer & comfort for those in need. Since, she has expanded to a myriad of artistic projects: using fabric and trims to create card boxes for all occasions; flowers and leaves from her garden along with wine, gun powder, and pastel chalks to make botanicals on clayboard; and a new line of 3D fabric and mixed media art. Not afraid to experiment, Sue combines techniques and approaches to achieve results in unexpected ways. Her works have shown at ArtPrize, Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts, and Beaver Island Art Show. Available for sale at 45th Parallel Restaurant in Sutton’s Bay. This entry is available for sale. The asking price is $400.00
