Sue Szymanski . . . I love creating art and crafting. My original inspiration was gun powder and red wine pictures my niece was creating. She taught me the process she had created and I create my art using the same basic process but I’ve changed it a bit to be more of my own. I started taking art classes from Nora Faber Overvoorde ? Years ago. I’ve enjoyed learning different methods and styles of art. When I mention my dream for Artprize this year, Nora was going to teach me what I needed to do to incorporate different styles and methods to achieve this dream. And I was very excited when I asked her to collaborate with me and she agreed. I love keeping busy with creating art as well as creating rag quilts and different crafts. I was never create when I was younger. The creativity is something that God has blessed me with since just before I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. My art has been on display at Artfest, Mary Free Bed Guild Fine Art Exhibition, previous Artprize venues and is available for .sale at the 45th Parallel Cafe in Suttons Bay, MI.
