Rob Kenagy is a writer and experimental folk musician based in West Michigan. He teaches creative writing as a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Hope College. Kenagy earned a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Virginia Tech where he won numerous awards for his poetry. His work has appeared in Best of the Net 2013, Vinyl Poetry, Gargoyle, Hobart (web), Forklift Ohio, Midwestern Gothic, CHEAP POP, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. He has also worked as an editor and reader for the online magazine Toad the Journal. Kenagy writes and records music as Ganges and performs with They Were Thieves.
