I am a practicing attorney and lifetime avid doodler, who taught myself to paint using the iPad as my only tool. I only started painting around July of 2010, yet I've spent thousands upon thousands of hours in that time learning my craft. All my paintings are created freehand with apps that simulate actual paint. The process is the similar to painting with oils, yet I do no have to wait for the paint to dry. I do not trace, and there is no photograph beneath the surface. My relatively brief artistic journey has created some terrific friendships with artists and developers from around the world, and I have had my work shown in exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, UK and San Francisco, and now, Grand Rapids! I have performed live drawing demonstrations at events in Detroit, New York and San Francisco , including this past year's annual gala at the Detroit Institute of Arts and the 2012 Macworld iWorld Conference. Recently, I exhibited at the LA-Mobile Arts Festival.
