Primary Reusers' Re-purposed Quilt

Ola Nwabara's avatar Ola Nwabara

This piece is a collective creation of a quilt. The quilt is composed of donated, found, and reused materials. Each contributing artist designed and created a square of the quilt. We all collaborated to create the square in the top left corner as well as the border squares. Each of us included spirals in our square and focused on portraying nature in the collective square. The quilt focuses on sharing the importance of reusing and what reusing looks like. On the quilt you can find fabrics, paper, and found materials. The borders represent the primary colors. We hope you can find re-occuring themes and fabrics used over and over again just as our spirals wind over and over again.
