I am a man of many interests and passions. I have loved creating artwork since high school and now enjoy giving back to the Rockford community as an art teacher. I have been married for almost eleven years to my wonderful wife Rachel. We currently have seven kids; two bio, two adopted, and three foster. I have a blast being a father and husband! I have a passion for landscaping and basically anything outdoors like hiking and disc golf. I lead a men's ministry called the "3:18 Men of Freedom" here in West Michigan (www.318menoffreedom.com / Twitter @318menoffreedom) as a part of "Living Out 3:18 Ministries." God has richly blessed my life and it is out of gratitude for what He has done for me that I live and love with purpose everyday. In my artwork, I try to capture the joy of life in God's creation around us. I usually create abstractions of nature or non-objective designs that tend to have an organic feel to them. In my drawings and paintings I like to get people's attention through the use of bright vibrant color in contrast with neutral colors. I love intricate detail, especially in my drawings where I try to capture the complexity and intensity of life through design.
