Moira Racich is a painter living and working in Northern Michigan. She received her B.S. in Humanities and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she studied with John Maeda. She was a juried artist member of the Cambridge Art Association (CAA) from 2015 to 2016, and received the CAA’s 2015 Mary Schein Fall Salon Award for her painting “Sunset in the Hills.” Her painting “Southwest Sunset” was included in the CAA's 71st Members Prize Show at University Place Gallery, juried by Dominic Molon, Richard Brown Baker Curator of Contemporary Art, Rhode Island School of Design Museum. Recent group exhibitions include the Oliver Art Center's 2017 Juried Exhibition (Frankfort, MI); “Flora and Fauna," Kathryn Schultz Gallery (Cambridge, MA); “Winter Break," University Place Gallery (Cambridge, MA); and "Branded: The Art of the Beer Label,” Nave Gallery Annex (Somerville, MA). She is co-owner of Borealis Gallery in Northport, MI.
