Michelle Boggess-Nunley is an international artist from Detroit, Michigan, specializing in fine painting, illustration and maze creating. She holds the Guinness World Record for the Largest Hand-Drawn Maze, which was completed over a 3.5 month period to benefit youth art programs left underfunded due to Covid-19. Her paintings often reflect diversity and have been displayed at exhibitions such as Art Revolution Taiwan 2020, ART 2021, ArtExpo NY 2018, and galleries such as the Jackson Junge Gallery in Chicago. Michelle is the creator of 'Wizard World Mazes', an illustrated maze series, 'I am a Lenny', a children's picture book that celebrates differences' along with various activity books, short stories and greeting card designs. Her work often highlights diversity, with a strong statement that there is strength in differences. Michelle has dedicated her professional life to creating and bringing art to others through her stories and classes. In an effort to bring art to under-served communities and learning centers in her local community, Michelle started On The Gogh Studio in April 2019. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators, serves on the Board of the Grosse Pointe Artist Association.
