Hello and Welcome! My name is Matt Tol and I make one of a kind art out of recycled, repurposed, and refurbished materials. Wood is my favorite medium, but anything that would otherwise be considered trash that may be useable is up for consideration. In this busy & chaotic world, it is creating beautiful and interesting pieces that keeps me grounded and centered. I find inspiration in nature as well as in architecture. My pieces range from geometric shapes to somewhat whimsical patterns. I strive to use as much reclaimed wood and other materials as possible in all of my pieces. Whether it be from searching the woods for interesting shapes and colors with my Corgi’s Ruby and Emma alongside me, or re-using materials that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill, my work captures the beauty in what most consider trash. I truly hope my art brings you as much joy and peace as it does for me!
