I have a love for all things artistic, and enjoy bringing whimsy to the art world by creating shadowboxes capturing old charm and preserving dried roses. Born and raised in Michigan, I now live and work in New York City, spending my free time perusing the rose stands on the Upper West Side for beautiful flowers. I am inspired by all things vintage, and enjoy adding elements with old-style character to my artwork. I love the beauty of fresh flowers, but what brings me even greater joy is creating beauty out of what many people discard as dead. My work aims to preserve the beauty of dried flowers and capture the charm of the past.
