Kathleen Zeck was born in the city of Sterling Heights, Michigan. She works primarily in the medium of painting, concentrating in oils and watercolor. Kathleen has received a bachelor’s degree at Kendall College of Art and Design majoring in Fine Art with a minor in Art History. Her graduation date was in the spring of 2015. She has made the President’s and Dean's list at KCAD and was awarded the Kendall Portfolio Scholarship. Kathleen has had solo shows, first at Go java Cafe in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and then Midtown Bakery & Cafe in Negaunee, Michigan. She was also apart of a XVIII collective show at Spiral Art Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and had her thesis show at KCAD. Her twelve-piece artwork was also hanging in the Gerald R. Ford International airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan. At this time Kathleen has artwork at Island Breeze of Mackinac, on Mackinaw Island in Michigan. She is currently continuing her studies at Kendall College of Art and Design. Earning her Masters degree in Fine Arts, and painting any chance she gets.
