Kathleen Kalinowski is a west Michigan artist noted for her contemporary impressionistic landscape paintings. She is a dedicated plein air artist, painting studies directly from nature whenever possible. She takes the knowledge she gains from seeing nature first hand and applies it to her work in the studio. Kathleen has been working in pastel and oil as a full time artist for the past twenty-seven years. Her education includes Kendall College of Art and Design, Grand Valley State University and painting workshops with professional artists. Her work has been accepted in prestigious juried exhibitions around the country and is placed in numerous private and corporate collections nationwide. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and an active member of the Oil Painters of America, and the local Grand Valley Artists.
