My artwork combines right-brain creativity with left-brain engineering logic. When working with electronics, I like to let the creativity flow and see it as much as art as engineering. My projects are an eclectic fusion of electronic components and craft materials and various unrelated objects; resulting in projects like the Dino-Zar (ArtPrize 2015) and the Marvelous Musical Scientific Sight and Sound Machine, a Finalist in the Time-Based category in ArtPrize 2018, and this year's entry: "Electrified!" In addition to "electronic art", I am also an avid photographer and award-winning videographer and producer. Scenic, nature, and infrared images are my main subjects. Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan and having lived, worked, and traveled in various countries around the world, I currently reside in Grand Rapids.
