Jennifer (Nasser) Miller spent many years living in Seoul, Korea and has travelled throughout Asia. The oriental aesthetic has a deep influence on her work and she continues to draw inspiration from traditional Korean landscapes and architecture and her photos, sketches and memories of the beauty of Korea. Jennifer also loves Japanese woodblock prints, and her painting style is influenced by the simplified perspectives, black outlines and idealized compositions of the shin hanga style of woodblock prints. She is a practicing attorney but has always painted avidly in her spare time.
These are Jennifer's official ArtPrize entries from this year and past years.
