Jennifer Brandon delights in capturing the charm and personality of all kinds of animals, from beloved pets and working-class farm animals to million-dollar racehorses. Oil on canvas is the medium, while artistic passion brings movement, power, and grace to the brushwork. Having grown up a farm girl and raising horses in Dalton, PA, Jennifer has an ingrained understanding of the nuances of animal portraiture. Using a modern, stylistic approach, she brings a liveliness and energy to her pieces seldom seen in traditional oil portraits. Jen graduated from Marywood University with a BFA in Illustration. She's illustrated a number of published children's books, and in 2007 launched her painting, illustration and design company, Jaché Studio. Besides being a full-time painter, Jen is an active member of her community, loves the Lord, and in her spare time enjoys rock climbing and fishing with her hubby Jared and two Great Danes, Mac and Tucker.
