This sculpture is carved from a single piece of Red Oak. It stands 50" in height, is 37" wide at the wings and 24" deep. It is mounted on a turntable Red Oak pedestal 22" in diameter and 27" tall. Mounted on the pedestal it stands 6' 4". It weighs 165 pounds and the pedestal weighs another 80 pounds for a total of 245 pounds. It is finished with a clear satin polyurethane finish. It has one numerous awards in woodcarving shows, including two Best of Shows, Peoples Choice and a Blue Ribbon in the 2009 International Woodcarvers Congress in Iowa. It is very sturdy and rotates easily when touched with a hand. Always attracts a lot of attention when exhibited.
