I was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1940. I received my BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and completed graduate studies in Engineering and Fermentation Technology at Villanova University and MIT. I became interested in photography while serving in the Army in South Korea. My passion is mainly landscape and wildlife photography. I still shoot exclusively with film and use only vintage cameras. My favorite camera, and the camera I used for this photograph is a 50+ years old Mamiya C300 with a 180mm lens. My style is also old school: for landscape I use Medium format and for wildlife either medium format or 35mm. I am self taught and learn from trial and error (mostly error). My wife and I have been married for 47 years. We recently moved to Wichita, Kansas from rural Indiana.
