As a veteran artist of 40 years, Earl has won numerous awards for his unique style of sculpture. Earl was nominated “Outstanding Visual Artist 2011″ of Marquette County, Michigan, by the Marquette Arts and Culture Center. Earl also won the “2011 Project of the Year Award″ in an international competition for Decorative Art in Concrete put on by the World of Concrete Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada for a yellow rose sculptural fountain floating in a pond. Earl’s art mediums include various clays, welded metals, watercolor, wire, fiber, concrete, and living foliage. As an inventor and president of Senco,Inc, Earl designed and manufactured a range of aluminum frame products including a patented portable ice fishing shanty, the first ever backpackable hunting blind, and home hobby greenhouses sold through mass merchandisers as well as well-known nationally distributed catalog companies. Besides the 25 products he designed for manufacture by Senco, Inc., Earl designed products for other companies either for personal royalty or for rights for Senco to manufacturer under private label license agreement.
