Growing up in the middle of rural Ohio, Danielle spent many days of her childhood playing in the fields surrounding her house. Her imagination fueled her adventures, from being a circus trainer to a gobble of turkeys (which she lovingly named Bigfoot and the Suzies) to reenacting dramatic scenes with her sisters from “The Young and the Restless” which her grandparents watched religiously. This all led to an innate passion for creativity which turned into a life of art-making. After receiving the Battelle Leadership Scholarship to Columbus College of Art and Design where she earned a BFA, she then did some graduate work in Art Therapy at the George Washington University. Danielle has worked professionally in art college admissions, photography, graphic design, and just completed her fourth year as a visual art teacher at a public high school.
