For the past 40 years I sporadically created art using all types of mediums – acrylics, watercolors, pencil, pastel chalks - really anything I could find but I would only go in relatively short bursts of time creating, life always happened, family or work, and I never gave the art the time or dedication that it requires. I grew up in a small suburb of Cleveland called Shaker Heights and always had a love of being social and making art. It wasn't until COVID happened in 2020 and I started working from home that I started to have issues. As someone who needs human connection and engagement, the months of remote working hit me hard. Losing the ability to connect with people in anything but a virtual environment forced me to face a few things that my life was lacking. It was clear I needed an outlet. That outlet has been art. I believe everyone is an artist. We all have the ability to make others think and feel through art. My goal through my art is to show real-time art in an ever-changing world as I am inspired by everything around me. My hope is that my art creates for you a calm, peaceful space you can pause and breathe in. Whether you are watching it unfold in real-time or enjoying a print, my gift to you is art that lives in this one moment.
