The tenth annual ArtPrize exhibition continues to take shape through June 28 as registered artists and venues form connections online at artprize.org.
GRAND RAPIDS (Michigan) JUNE 7, 2018 - Artist registration closed today for the tenth annual ArtPrize competition, slated to take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan from September 19-October 7, 2018. Anyone over 18, working in any medium, from any place on earth can enter their artwork into ArtPrize - one of the world’s largest art competitions. At the close of the nearly eight week registration period, 2,176 artists or artist teams have registered 2,017 entries, a 4.5% increase over 2017, in the hopes of competing for a combination of public vote and juried awards totaling $500,000 this fall.
NOTE: This does not reflect the final number of artists participating in ArtPrize 10. Each artist must connect with one of the 190+ registered venues to participate in the event this fall. The final number of ArtPrize artists and venues will be announced following the close of Connections, which runs through June 28.
