- The Talsma Concert Series kicks off at Rosa Parks Circle tonight with a show by Big Sherb -- the funk-jam fusion band’s debut album was released in 2015, the fun begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m.
Next Milestone Event:
On October 9 the ArtPrize Awards will take place at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre for the second consecutive year, the intimate Awards ceremony will run concurrently with the WOOD TV8 Community Watch Party occurring in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids from 5:30 p.m., at Rosa Park Circle -- everyone is invited! With a Founders Brewing beer tent as well as live music and other jubilatons, live coverage of the awards ceremony wlll begin at 7 p.m on NBC affiliate WOOD TV8.
