Autumn Brown is a native of Augusta, Georgia. She received her BFA in Metalsmithing from the University of Georgia and her MFA in Metal Design from East Carolina University. Autumn has been engaged with metal and ceramic materials since a very young age, which has contributed to her pursuit of the combination in her practice. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and was most recently represented by Jewelry Edition. Currently Autumn resides in Kalamazoo, MI where she oversees the Metals/Jewelry area for the Gwen Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University. During the summer months she transitions north to instruct young metalsmiths at Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, MI.
