BIOGRAPHY Anne Marie Church, Soprano, has sung leading operatic roles in New York and New Jersey, including Mimi in “La Boheme,” Massenet’s “Manon,” Queen of the Night from “Die Zauberflöte,” and Mozart’s Countess in “Le Nozze di Figaro.” Her portrayal of Mimi with New York Grand Opera led New York Times critic Alan Kozinn to write that, “…Anne Marie Church’s Mimi was by far the most appealing. She has a smooth, attractive voice which she uses expressively.” “American Art Song Today—ALIVE!”™ was premiered at Princeton University’s Westminster Choir College Summer Series. This move to create a format demonstrating the accessibility and dynamic diversity of American song proved highly successful and the series found enthusiastic audiences here and in Europe, including the opening of New York City’s Donnell Library’s American Music Week. Ms. Church has also presented the series at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.
