I double-majored in Science in Human Culture and Radio/TV/Film at Northwestern University. After 4 years of working in production for major motion pictures and broadcast television, where I gained experience with complex operational logistics across a range of creative disciplines, I began to expand my own creative endeavors by creating artwork for music festivals, live events, and private clients. From a young age, I’ve been fascinated with the emotional power of art and storytelling. No matter the medium, carefully curated details in service of the big picture have the remarkable ability to transform a “thing” into an evocative human experience. My work often explores the tension between light and darkness and strives to create magic from the space in between. I frequently make use of optical illusions and other tricks of physics in conjunction with various physical mediums to stimulate the senses and excite the mind. For me, art and design provide an opportunity to connect deeply with people on a shared journey of exploration, interaction, and imagination.
