I was born and raised on the East side of Michigan in the Metropolitan suburb of Detroit, Grosse Pointe. I attended The University of Michigan to study Art and Architecture and since graduation have been able to work and travel extensively. In 2006 I moved to Chicago for a Design job, moved into a live/work art studio, lost my job in 2007, but continued to paint and exhibit for the next 5 years in Chicago. In 2012 I moved back to Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and now look to partner up with the Metropolitan Detroit arts community to call the area my home and studio. The painting of the presidents is one of the many paintings I created during my time in Chicago. With a background in Art & Architecture, I am more known for my cityscapes, as evident in last years Chicago cityscapes submission at The B.O.B., but this gives you a good example of my portraiture ability. Please visit my website to see more examples of my work.
