Let the River Flow

'Let the River Flow' was born out of a vision I had 7 years ago and it turned out as 3D stained glass while I was working with paper. Later it happened to be overflowed from my space as installations. It's initially made of thin paper painted and coated, transformed to be durable and translucent soft sculptural forms. Each unit of 'water current' is combined multiple small pieces, then currents put together, make an intimate and intriguing site specific 'River' installation. It is an embodiment of co-dependency of community, being built and move forward together like a river. The larger outdoor installation piece is made differently as a statment piece which can withstand harsh weather conditions. I'm beggining a mapping project as I bring this 'packable arts' around with me, casting vision of hope ; 'River' as a source of our life, bringing healing and renewal. This is an invitation of 'Come!' for ‘The Life, given freely, let it freely flow.'
