Elyse et Le Chat

“Elyse et Le Chat” (Bronze, 2020, L. Testé) is a study of Contentment, Trust, Belonging. The two share a beautiful moment of playful serenity. . . . "Let’s bask and savor, the calm we favor, Trouble free, nose in the breeze. Frets flicker and cease, a catnap release, Sit with me, perfect at ease." . . . "How time flew faster when void of laughter, Hollow days passing right by. How thin was the air, so vapid and bare, Shallow praise wringing it dry." . . . "When it’s a dog’s life, leave the doubts and strife, Open gates invite you yet. Such allies we seek, be new or antique, Old-soul mates having just met." . . . . Laura Testé (b. 1968) is a Michigan sculptor and poet whose art capture lithesome figures in a quiet repose or mid-swirl with a bloom of fabric. Her sculptures were exhibited in Saint-Tropez, France as well as in Michigan’s Arthur Secunda Museum. Galleries in Michigan, South Carolina, and Grimaud, France display her bronzes. *** Instagram: Laura Teste Studios
