Quarantined

Covid19 This is a work in progress. Just has covid19 has not stopped spreading nor is this painting. Hopefully in time for the start of artprize. This painting will get heavier and deeper has the layers will be added. I studied the old masters while I was in Amsterdam two years ago. I’m in it to win it! My work deals with macobre, science fiction, dark, and mysterious. This past year has been difficult for everybody, just waking up some days is an act of bravery. This piece exams the Covid19 pandemic. From keeping a social distance of 6 feet and wearing mask in public became a sense of the norm, self isolation from the rest of society in order to slow the spread of this incurable virus to date. A dog warning as the viewer (my blind rescue boston terrier) is about to enter the room is a symbol of warning. The size of this piece is intentional in order to feel an intimidate feeling with the viewer. I’m seriously thinking of building a frame for this painting.
