Quad-Polar Binary Convergence

Victor Fitzsimons's avatar Victor Fitzsimons

This abstract composition was finished in 2021. It was made with fine line marker and took 253 hours and 55 minutes of active working time to complete. The ink occupies an area 30 inches (76.2 cm) square, with narrow gaps between each path. A time lapse video of my work on this piece is available here: https://youtu.be/o0-QHm79N-I This artwork consists of a field formed by the convergence of four semicircular paths that originate at the midpoint of each side of the perimeter. These were drawn by hand over a period of months, and completed in January 2021.
