Verge of Extinction (Medium: DUCT TAPE)

Kerry Mott's avatar Kerry Mott

This work is made entirely out of 30,000+ of pieces of duct tape! I am a duct tape artist so I hand cut pieces of tape and layer them to create my work! I wanted to do this piece because for one, who doesn’t love tigers?! And secondly, tigers are one of the top endangered species listed for 2021, and rapidly going extinct. If I can use my art to help bring awareness to this maybe we can make a change. This tiger is 4ft. x 4ft. and makes quite a statement on any wall! A sealant is on top to preserve it.
