Eve, a woman in conflict.

Mary Eisenga's avatar Mary Eisenga

A sculpture approximately 3 feet in height, multi-components: clay, wire, plaster, cloth, glass, chain, & dyes. The sculpture is of a woman, Eve, who is struggling with the demands of her world, i.e. God, man, serpent, guilt, failure, and loss of innocence. The tattoo over her heart is representative of the Hebrew text for God, while the one over her right rib means Adam or mankind.
