The Last Rhinos

The Global Conservation Corps (GCC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that conserves wildlife through the upliftment, education and training of people. We currently focus our efforts in South Africa which is ground zero for the global war on rhino poaching. At present, we lose 3 rhinos a day to poaching, and at this rate of poaching, rhinos are predicted to go extinct in the wild within as little as 10 years from now. This art piece depicts the sheer beauty of rhinos in the wild, in their natural setting. Every 8 hours in South Africa, one of these incredible animals is slaughtered for their horn. This piece begs the question: "what would our world look like without these iconic species?"
