This sculpture is an integration of my spirituality, faith, and self-awareness. I was able to incorporate several cultures together such as Native Americanism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Egyptians. This sculpture contains aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and cruelty-free ostrich feathers. The center diameter was cut out of aluminum through a CNC plasma machine, the outside oval layers are refurbished aluminum pipe cut up into 8th-inch pieces, and then welded to the outside layer edge. There are several layers making up the outside design. Behind the lotus flower and words is refurbished patinated copper that has been adhered to the back side. The bottom design is refurbished cruelty-free dyed ostrich feathers. Lastly, the coloring process is done with powder coating. I used only two colors and strategically faded them together. Every weld, cut, process, patina, and coloring was done by myself.
