This is a 2D installation, proposed for a long wall. The dimensions are variable and can fit into/ interact with/reflect the architecture. I’m proposing a long perspectival wall drawing done in graphite, with a grid of 12” x 16” paintings installed on top. The wall drawing is of a free-floating warehouse facade, industrial appearance, minimal in style. The drawing’s silvery surface will contrast with the rich range of blacks in the small paintings of night windows. The paintings form a grid that also plays with the perspective – ones at the top being views from below, lower ones being bird’s eye views etc. The overall effect of two floating grids in different dimensions should be destabilizing but seductive. The paintings are stippled in layers of primary colors and are optical, pixilated and trippy - resembling visual "noise" of digital images.
