Angel of Hero’s; An Angel Flight is the U.S. Air Force plane C-130 used to fly home our “Fallen Soldiers”. Angel Flights have top priority in U.S. Airspace and air strip landing and take-off .The airplane is completely empty, with the exception of a lone coffin. That coffin is tied down and has an American flag draped over it. Hanging above the coffin is another flag proudly lit up by the light coming into the open space. A soldier is on the journey home. The angel flight is the most distinguished way to end a soldier’s mission; an “angel flight” is the means which fulfills his or her final journey. This is a “Fallen Soldiers” — a man or woman who has died to keep our country free. The soldier is going home to their loved ones. During the flight the crew will set off a precise set of flares that gives the appearance of an angel. I imagine at this point the soldier’s spirit converting into the “Angel of Hero’s”. The mission of this angel is to usher in other “Fallen Soldiers” to the heavens and peace that follow. Concluding this flight an honor guard meets the incoming plane. They will line up and salute as the coffin is transferred out of the plane to continue the journey to their final resting site.
