The name of the piece is “HAPPY” Fun with Fabrics & Re-Cycled Furniture - Form follows function... a phrase Louis Sullivan coined to capture the essence of decorative elements, which architects called "ornaments" during the Modernism era of the 1930's. Now, fast-forward to 2018 where original art is printed on fabric to create textile forms. These floral and geometric textiles are custom formed onto a variety of furniture. Examples include chairs, lamp shades, pillows, apparel and drapery / quilted wall hangings. Stay tuned… My dream has come true - a display filled with vibrant patterns and boundless creativity! Proceeds of art sales (from Sept. 2018 to Sept. 2019) go towards helping the Boys & Girls Club and Stiggy's Dogs- pairing rescue dogs with Veterans suffering from PTSD- rescuing one to rescue another.
