The Forgotten War

In 1953, at age 20, Jay Kool was deployed to the Korean War as an Air Force mechanic. He captured rare color photographs using his Argus C4 camera and 35mm archival film. The images were preserved in storage for nearly 65 years until they were rediscovered and developed for Art Prize 2018. They are shown here for the very first time in print. Jay is now 85 years old and resides in Jenison, Michigan.
