"Lady Liberty" is a three dimensional art piece with various views of the Statue of Liberty. It is encompassed in a border containing words from Emma Lazarus' poem "The New Colossus" , which she wrote in 1883 to raise funds for the construction of a pedestal for the Stature of Liberty. In this poem, she conveys the message that all are welcome to these shores. "Old Glory" is flourishing as a back drop for the whole piece....the combination of epic patriotism! "Lady Liberty" is made from layers of board, and textured materials, such as pearl sized beading, netting and various metals.
