SEJ Kinetics

The Aurora is an optical kinetic sculpture that can be rotated manually or electronically. It is composed of 12 or more elliptical fins positioned between two circular axis plates. The fins are made of the highest quality stainless steel and hand polished for a mirror finish. The fins unique shapes are precisely designed and cut. They are then mounted at specific angles with measured spacing to create a visual harmony of perfection. So dynamic are the optics of The Aurora that it has inspired a new, exciting genre of abstract photography. Optical Kinetics also offers programmable options for The Aurora, including syncopated sequences of lighting, music and motion.
