The Entomologist

Anna Donahue's avatar Anna Donahue

What does it feel like to be an insect? The Entomologist is a super sized steel sculpture that shows a giant hand reaching to the ground to collect specimens. The fingers touch the ground and allow for the viewer to step inside the sculpture and become the specimen. Walk in and out of the sculpture and stand where the Entomologist can pick you up. All of the people engaging with this artwork become the focus of attention.
