What lies beneath

David Miner's avatar David Miner

This is a drawing in Prisma color pencil done on 100% rag paper illustration board. The board is 3' by 5' in size. The image is of NY city looking from the Empire State building observation deck. This is a drawing I worked many years on working from photos. Being involved in our daily lives within the maze a bustling city, we concentrate on how our own lives are impacted by our interactions with those around us. Flying high above that daily existence we are humbled by how small our personal lives are in context to our place in the human story. Looking down on the big picture reminds us of the beauty in both our personal lives, and how we fit into the larger picture of the human experience, and that there is beauty and art in both. Limited signed edition prints available in 2 sizes. senddave2@comcast.net Can you find the 2 flying birds?
