Filmed in more than 15 locations throughout Southern California, “Remission” employs formal filmmaking techniques paired with a unique storytelling style and a focus on creating beauty uncommon in video art. It features vibrant handmade creature costumes and breathtaking visuals of the California landscape; from Death Valley to Sequoia, each shot is carefully composed as if a painting.
