Windy Day

Liquid Mosaic Vote Code: 66103

The installation"RUN SALMON RUN" is based on the painting " Windy Day" in the photo attached. The painting is created using our own technique called Liquid Mosaic. It involves layering pigmented resins, foils and other powders onto canvas to achieve appearance of glass laid over flat textured substrate. The installation will consist of several panels with resins formed on them in a shape of a tree in a windy day. Last panel from left to right will appear to be disintegrating under wind along with a tree branches and leaves painted on it. to the left of the installation will be a fan blowing onto panels making them move slightly to create instability in the last of the three panels. Overall installation will take up a wall about 8x10 ft. It will require an electric plug for a fan
