In April 2014 Flint, Michigan was hit with the devastating news of their water supply being contaminated. This coming after city officials and state officials changed the resource from the Detroit Water and Sewage Department to the Flint River. This changed put 100,000 residents in danger to be potentially poisoned. Keyon Lovett is a Flint native and has family that has seen first hand the effects of the water crisis. Keyon has documented their response as well as their feelings throughout the ordeal. Keyon and friends traveled back and forth to Flint Michigan to film Home Sweet Home a documentary that shares the stories of those who have been forgotten. Its been 3 years since any reports of transformation have came out of Flint Michigan since 2014. Keyon will be living in his Rumsey Street venue for 3 weeks only using bottled water to handle his day to day activities. Viewers are able to watch the Documentary Home Sweet Home while visiting Keyon.
